Arul Senthilan is the founder of Fresh Maligai Pvt. Ltd. Arul has more than two decades of experience in exporting from India. He started his business in textile export in the ’90s.

During his stay in Canada, he established relationship with Grocery experts in Alberta province and set up a distribution network for Indian Grocery stores and establised the brand name ‘Good One’.

To remove the bottlenecks in consistency and ensure the timely delivery of supplies, he decided to set up a sourcing hub for all Indian food products and thus Fresh Maligai was born.

Fresh Maligai has two main objectives in mind: first, to establish the brand ‘Good One’ in the Canadian market and second, to establish the brand ‘Fresh Maligai’ in the Indian market.

In later stages, the product portfolio will be expanded from dry groceries to vegetables and sea food. The business will also expand to other countries, namely Russia, Israel, USA and Rwanda.

Our partners in Canada have already established a distribution network and a very reputed store, ‘India Grocery’, in Calgary, Canada. The distribution network is also being expanded with bigger warehouses for storage.

The ‘Good One’ brand is already being stocked in Candian shelves and gaining a good reputation.

The plan is to expand distribution to Edmonton and other cities in Alberta Province. And then all over Canada. Fresh Maligai will act as the exclusive supply resource for all things from India. Fresh Maligai is based in Madurai, India. Madurai has the advantage of being in a central location to procure food products from all over Tamil nadu and also in close proximnity to Port Tuticorin.

Fresh Maligai will have a warehouse and packaging facilities in Madurai and Coimbatore. In future, Fresh Maligai will also set up grocery stores under " Fresh Maligai" name with Fresh Maligai branded products.
